I specialize in varying teaching techniques, customizing for each individual learner. I believe people have difficulties learning because everyone learns in a different way, and they just need another point of view to help them conceptualize.
As a current teacher and mother of four, I am interested in working one-on-one with students. I used to tutor frequently when my children were much younger: I worked with middle school students as well as high school students preparing them for standardized testing. I also tutored several ESL students in grammar and writing.
I have always enjoyed and have felt rewarded by working one...
I have a natural way with people of all ages and all walks of life. I enjoy learning and want to pass that on to others.

I have been a swim coach for the last 4 years, working primarily with athletes aged from 5-15. I just finished my degree in mathematics with focus in secondary education. I also worked as an educational assistant in a low income elementary school. At this elementary school, I proposed, created, and ran a math club for struggling math students.
I have just finished my first year of teaching in Thailand where I taught grade three and also tutored my students outside of school. I would like to continue working with students one on one to help them grow.
I also have a teaching degree in elementary education.
