"Good Evening Mr. Cogen [Our CEO],
Thank you so much for sending Matthew to tutor my son in Math. My son's school tutor was not making much progress in helping him improve his grades. He was having problems understanding the material and seemed more confused after his sessions. My son had a "F" in Math, a "C" in another subject and the rest were "D's".
I went into panic mode and started searching on line for tutors and that's when I found stepping stone. I didn't know what to expect when I registered. I never hired a tutor before and was afraid they would not be able to help my son. But I had to try because everything else was failing.
After a couple of tutor sessions with Matthew, my son brought home his first "B" in Math this school year. He was so happy and I so proud. As the sessions went on he continued to do well. He even started doing his classwork. For the first time this school year he understood the material and didn't felt intimated by the work.
His grades started improving in his other subjects as well. Why? Matthew Nolen tutored my son in Math but without knowing it, became a positive male role model in his life. Something every teenaged boy needs... a mentor. My son began to look up to him and wanted to be just like him. This silent mentorship inspired him to do more, be more. At the end of the school year, my son had a C+ in one subject and the rest including Math were B's.
Thank you stepping stone tutors for sending Matthew into our lives. His tireless effort helped my son pass to the ninth grade.

Sarah. John called us right away and setup a time to meet with myself,
Sarah, and my husband. We had never used a tutoring service before but
we were very impressed by how fast Stepping Stone Tutors scheduled an
appointment with us.

being able to just pay by the hour until I could see if John was clicking
